The 2 Days Uganda gorilla tour is a lifetime gorilla encounter, which starts and ends in Kigali Rwanda. On this 2 Days gorilla adventure, you will trek 1 out of 20 gorilla families, which live in Bwindi Forest. The Impenetrable Forest is home to the world’s highest gorilla population with roughly 450 gorillas inhabiting there. Safaris to see gorillas are the highlight of all trips to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. Over 90% of travelers to this jungle forest visit purposely to trek gorillas. You can choose a gorilla family of your choice in any of the four sectors that make up Bwindi Forest Park. The habituated gorilla families in Bwindi Forest are Kutu, Kyaguliro, Mishaya, Habinyanja, Rushegura, Bweza, Nshongi, Christmas, Katwe, Bushaho, Bikyingi, Oruzogo, Mucunguzi, Mubare, Rwigi, and Nkuringo among others. Trekking gorillas in Bwindi Forest require you to have a permit, which cost $700 for foreign non-residents, $600 for foreign residents and UGX 250,000 for east African citizens.

Day 1: Pick up & transfer to Bwindi Forest National park
The driver guide from Kabaffulio Safaris will pick you up from either your hotel in Kigali or the airport. Meet, greet and have a brief guide on what to expect on this 2 Days gorilla adventure. If time allows, you can have a brief tour of Kigali city to explore the beauty of Rwanda’s capital. You will then embark on a 5 hours drive headed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park located in southwestern Uganda. You can either cross via the Cyanika border in Kisoro of the Katuna border in Kabala depending on the gorilla region you are visiting. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Departure
The Day to see gorillas is finally here! Rise up very early, refresh, have breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters where you will be registered briefed, and allocated a gorilla family to trek. The lodge will give you packed lunch since you cannot be sure of how long the gorilla trek will take. The trek to see gorillas will begin at 8:00 am. Follow the footsteps of your ranger guide, observe the rules of trekking and enjoy this lifetime experience. The allowed time with gorillas is strictly an hour counted from the moment you see them! In the evening, transfer back to Kigali for your connecting flight or overnight.
