You will then proceed to Kibale Park arriving in the evening hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp tour
After breakfast at the lodge this morning, transfer to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. At 8:00 am, begin a trek to meet up with the endangered primates. You will then be guided to the open park to look for habituated chimps in their natural habitat. After a few hours of trekking, you will meet the chimps feeding, playing, and going about their daily lives in the forest. The chimps are believed to be about 98% the same DNA as humans and this will be tested on their intelligence as they go about their daily activities as you will see. After a whole hour with the chimpanzee taking pictures and capturing videos, you will return to the starting point.
