You will then proceed to Kibale Park arriving in the evening hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp tour
After breakfast at the lodge this morning, transfer to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. At 8:00 am, begin a trek to meet up with the endangered primates. You will then be guided to the open park to look for habituated chimps in their natural habitat. After a few hours of trekking, you will meet the chimps feeding, playing, and going about their daily lives in the forest. The chimps are believed to be about 98% the same DNA as humans and this will be tested on their intelligence as they go about their daily activities as you will see. After a whole hour with the chimpanzee taking pictures and capturing videos, you will return to the starting point. Drive to the lodge for lunch and launch an afternoon nature walk to the Bigodi swamp to catch up with several other primate species, birds, and many tree and plant species in this swamp. Return to the lodge later after this exciting moment for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
