Day 1: Pick up, city tour and transfer to Akagera National park
The driver guide from Kabaffulo Safaris will pick you from either your hotel in Kigali or the airport for a 3 Days trip. Start off with a city tour in Kigali visiting different tourism centers such as the Kigali genocide memorial centre, the inema art gallery, the kimironko market and the Kigali Convention Centre among others. You will then transfer to Akagera National park in the eastern side of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge
Day 2: Game Viewing & boat cruise
Very early, go for morning game drives to catchup with early risers grazing and hunting. Expect to see a high concentration of wild animals such as Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Rhinos, Waterbucks, Zebras, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Warthogs, Elands, Topis and Buffalos among others. In the afternoon, go for a boat cruise at Lake Ihema located in the heart of the park. The cruise offers you best views of the park, birds and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 3: Departure
This day’s program will depend on your departure flight’s time. You can have an optional morning game drive or just chill at your lodge waiting for a relaxed breakfast. Thereafter, check out and drive back to Kigali for your connecting flight
